All of our Signal Heads are made with a 1/8" thick steel face plate. The back boxes are modified 6" x 6" x 4" plastic juction/pull electrical boxes and screw mounted to the face plate. The lowest most back box is has a 1 1/2" Ridig pipe floor flange fitting with the threaded fitting protruding out through the bottom of the back box with the flange part inside. The flange and box is carriage bolted together with the bolt head on the outside to prevent tampering. The lamp fixture is a flush mounted back-up light with a clear lens and the inside part of the fixture is painted silver chrome for a greater amount of light reflextion with a #93 lamp rated at 12VDC @ 1.1 Amps (13 Watts). The hoods are 16 Gage steel formed in a half circle with mounting tabs that fit under the lamp fixture's mounting screws. You have a choose of how the signals heads are to be painted: (1) painted all black front and back sides or (2) Painted black on the front only with silver on the back only or (3) Painted black on the face plate front and rear sides and just the back boxes painted silver. |
